Dr. Kelley Coll
Education: Michigan State University DVM 1991, University of Michigan BS 1986
Dr. Coll grew up in Coral Gables, FL (near Miami) and came to Michigan to attend the University of Michigan. She graduated with High Distinction in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She then attended Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with honors in 1991. She met her husband at U of M, and thus decided to settle in Michigan. Dr. Coll has owned Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic since 1997. She grew up with lots of pets and knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She started working for veterinarians when she turned 16 and learned all aspects of the business--working in the kennel, being a receptionist, and helping out as an assistant. Dr. Coll and her husband John have 3 kids. Her son Nathan graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He studied computer science and was a member of the marching band. Dr. Coll's twin daughters Avery and Meghan attend the University of Michigan. They enjoy swimming, volleyball, water polo, and orchestra, and are animal lovers too. Dr. Coll's hobbies include knitting, biking, swimming, and attending as many of her kids' activities as possible. She has 2 cats adopted from Lake Haven: Eddie and Minnie. She also considers the hospital cat, Gus, a part of the family since he goes home with her on occasion.
Education: Davenport University MBA 2017
Stephanie grew up with numerous pets and, like many little girls, wanted to work in the veterinary field when she grew up. While still in high school she started working with veterinarians as a kennel assistant and began learning the many aspects of the business. In the following years, Stephanie worked as an assistant, a receptionist, an administrative assistant, and a human resources director. As an adult she decided to return to college and in 2012 earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Davenport University. In 2017, she went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in human resource management. In the future, Stephanie is hoping to obtain a CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) certificate. She and Dr. Coll initially worked together at the beginning of both of their careers and, as of May 2019, Stephanie is happy to be working with Dr. Coll once again as the Practice Manager of Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic.
On a personal note, Stephanie and her husband have 3 sons and a soon-to-be daughter-in-law. They are also pet parents to 2 beautiful Labs, Magnus and Trigger; 2 Dalmatians, Finn and Lando; a Shih-Tzu named Walker, and a horse named Diesel. In her spare time (which is very rare), Stephanie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to books, spending time on the lake, bonfires, watching movies, doing crafts, and remodeling her home.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Michelle has been an LVT at our clinic since she graduated from Baker College in 2007. She has enjoyed being around animals since she was young and loves working with them today. She also enjoys every aspect of being a technician, from helping with routine appointments to client education to assisting and monitoring patients during surgery. Michelle and her husband Jason have 4 busy kids, Carter, Garret, Natalie, and Kayla. As a family, they have a German Shorthaired Pointer named Otis and 2 guinea pigs named Sprinkles and Marshmallow. Michelle loves spending time with family, being outside, watching her kids play baseball, and camping during the summer.
Kristie started working at CDVC in 1998. Though her degree from CMU is in health fitness, her heart has always been with dogs and cats! She and her husband Kevin have been married since 1996 and have 2 adopted children, Briana and Jamija. They started their family with a Husky mix named Shadow, and soon after came Owatchee, a Malamute mix. They also rescued Riley, a Border Collie, and added 2 cats, Annie and Casper. Today, Kristie and her family currently have Skye, an active Border Collie; Ruger, a mixed breed; and Annie, who has made it through all the craziness!
Client Service Representative
Erin has been working in the veterinary field since 2016 and has loved every minute of it! Growing up, her family always had at least one dog or cat in the house, which she loved, and that’s when she realized she wanted to work with animals for a career. Although Erin does not have any schooling in the veterinary field, she has worked many customer-based jobs before starting in this amazing industry. She loves being a client service representative, where she can greet all the pets and their families once they walk through the door. Meeting all different types of pets and people makes her day, and Erin can honestly say that she loves coming in to work every day.
Erin and her husband share their home with 2 Pit Bull rescues, Aspen and Chief, and 3 entertaining cats, Zelda, Lenny, and Lita—since they don’t have any human children, these are their “babies!” When she’s not working, Erin enjoys outdoor activities, being around her close group of friends, and reading. She considers herself a fall weather person; between all the breathtaking colors and the bonfires, it’s her favorite time of year. Erin is also a bit of a sports fanatic... GO GREEN!
Vet Assistant/Client Service Representative
Sue has worked for Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic as a part-time vet assistant/CSR since 2009. She also works a full-time job outside of the clinic. Sue and her boyfriend, Brad, have a cat named Elsa, who you can occasionally find running around the clinic.
When she’s not working, Sue loves to play softball and enjoys being with her friends and family.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Fang graduated from the vet tech program at Baker College in 2013, and has been a part of the Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic team ever since. Currently, her pets include a dog, a cat, and a corn snake. She loves all breeds of cats and dogs, but has a soft spot for rescues and "Pitties." In her free time, Fang is usually watching movies, playing video games, or reading. She is also a foodie, so she dreams of taking a world-wide food tour.
Ashley started working for Chicago Drive Veterinary Clinic in March 2019. She has had a love for animals since she was very little. She has a black Goldendoodle named Tiger, and hopes to attend Grand Valley State University to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Anna is our professional pet groomer here at Chicago Drive. She graduated from the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in 2013. Shortly after that, she started grooming here one day a week, and now she has the privilege of grooming Monday through Thursday every week. On Fridays, she instructs students at the Paragon School of Pet Grooming. Anna loves grooming in the veterinary environment, because she learns a lot from the medical side of things. She really enjoys learning and strives to constantly continue her education by taking classes and seminars, going to grooming shows, and learning from other groomers.
Anna and her husband, Devon, have been married since 2014. They have 2 dogs, a Standard Poodle named Timo, and Twinkie, a Jack Russell mix. Anna and her husband love to travel and spend time at their grandparents' cottages during the summer, where she loves to fish and spend time on the boat. In her spare time, Anna loves hanging out with friends, playing board games, card games, and video games, and watching movies. She is also a big foodie, and loves trying new things. Christmas is her favorite time of year, because her family has many fun traditions that make it truly special.
Anna loves making dogs look and feel great, but the most important thing about her job is being an advocate for your pet. She sees most of her clients more often than their veterinarians do, so it's her responsibility to observe changes in your pet from visit to visit and be their voice if something is out of the ordinary. Anna takes great care in what she does, and hopes to see you and your pet walk through her door soon!
